Dear Ms. Norton,
I always get it mixed up--were you the one that worked for James Watt or was that Christie Todd Whitman? He was a great American, wasn’t he?
I want to congratulate you on your “Healthy Forests Initiative.” It’s such common sense! If you cut down the trees, they won’t burn! Why can’t the liberals ever see what any first grader would understand?
Don’t give up on the Arctic drilling plan! Our president is tenacious, as we have seen. If he won’t give up, why should you? Again, it makes such perfect sense--we need the oil, hardly anybody lives in Alaska anyway, and all these enviros who worry about the caribou--jeez! Don’t they know the caribou can just walk right around those pipelines? It won’t bother anybody! And if there’s a spill, we’ll just clean it up! (We can hire Haliburton to do it.)
Keep up the good work in protecting our environment with a balanced approach.
Yours truly,
Carl Estrada
