Dear Mr. President,
Happy Independence Day! 228 years ago, our Founding Fathers told us to go forth and multiply and spread democracy around the world and make the world safe from separation of church and state. And thanks to you, we are! Is this a great country or what?!
I’m going away on a big trip and I’ll be home on July 22. I bet you’re jealous--if this wasn’t an election year, you could be on vacation too!
I have a request while I’m gone: Don’t bomb Italy. That’s where I’ll be.
Also, don’t bomb France. It’s too close to Italy, and sometimes they miss.
Ciao,
Carl Estrada
