Dear Reverend Graham (Franklin),
Thank you so much for the picture! I can’t tell you how much this means to my grandson, Lester. And then--to my surprise--a bonus picture of your dad! WOW! You could have knocked me over! I think I’ll let Lester keep your picture and I’ll hang your dad’s picture over my tv.
Your nice secretary told me that your dad couldn’t sign the picture because he has Parkinson’s disease. I would never have asked him to sign--I wouldn’t want to burden him like that. I actually only asked for your signature, and I hope you’ll take this the right way, but I can’t even read it! It’s a scribble! I mean, no offense, but your signature looks like you’re the one with Parkinson’s. Take a look at your dad’s stamped signature. It says, “God Bless You, Billy Gr...” and then the last name you can’t really read, but by then you can tell who it’s from. Yours is a mess! I just think that if you’re going to be taking over your dad’s ministry and speaking God’s word and trying to convert heathens all over the world and being a role model for little kids, you should try to make a good impression by signing your name so people can read it.
I hope you will take this constructive criticism in the spirit it is given. You have an important job ahead of you, and I just want you to get off on the right foot.
God Bless You, Reverend Graham!
Sincerely,
Carl Estrada
