President George W. Bush
The White House
1600 Pennsylvania Ave.
Washington, DC 20500
Dear President Bush,
I have a minor criticism that I hope you will take the right way: You know that little American flag pin that you wear on your lapel? It’s crooked. Everytime I see you, it’s always leaning a little bit to the left (my left, your right).
I know it’s a small thing, but it’s kind of distracting--and I think it detracts from the image you’re trying to present: strong, forceful leader...You see what I mean? How can someone look strong and forceful when his flag is crooked? I don’t want those Frenchies and Russkies to see you and get the wrong idea!
I suggest you bring it up with Laura. That’s what wives are for, right? I’m sure she straightens your tie in the morning and makes sure you don’t have anything between your teeth before she sends you out. So she could keep an eye on your flag pin and make sure it’s straight.
God Bless America!
Support Our Troops (give them a raise)!
At your service,
Carl Estrada
