Dear Ralph,

Four more years!

I can’t tell you how relieved I am that you’re “throwing your hat in the ring!” I was getting worried about Our President. He’s been in all kinds of trouble lately. Have you been watching TV? There’s going to be a civil war in Iraq, and everybody’s going to blame Our President. It’s so obvious it’s the CIA’s fault--they’re the ones who told him what to do! Them and Cheney and Rumsfeld. And Wolfowitz.

Also those darn investigations! There are so many, I’ve lost track. There’s the 9-11 investigation and the CIA agent outing investigation and the Dick Cheney energy meetings investigation and the pre-war intelligence investigation--it just goes on and on! And the deficit! Congress just won’t stop spending money!

And now we’ve got that guy who looks like Lincoln making up stories about how Our President gets billions of dollars from special interests like Enron. People who live in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones! Kerry gets money from special interests too--like the Sierra Club. He should talk!

Anyway, I was getting worried that Our President might actually lose. Everybody’s ganging up on him! So, we who love President Bush and all the great Christian American values he stands for, bow down to you in gratitude, Ralph Nader, for STANDING UP FOR OUR PRESIDENT! You’re falling on your sword for a great cause! The Demos and the Greens and The Nation and your own Public Citizen--they all want to throttle you! But in the end, you’ll be a hero because you will help re-elect our Great Leader, George W. Bush!

By the way, have you heard he’s got over 150 million dollars in his campaign “war chest?” Ask him for some! I’m sure he’d be glad to help you out.
