Ms. Condoleezza Rice
National Security Advisor
The White House
1600 Pennsylvania Ave.
Washington, DC 20500
Dear Ms. Rice,
Have you ever played poker? The reason I ask is those other guys--Bush and Cheney and Rumsfeld--I can tell they’re good poker players because they can bluff without changing their expressions or blinking or doing anything different to tip you off.
But you have a give-away: Whenever I see you talking about Iraq on tv, I can always tell when you’re “exaggerating the truth” because you shift your eyes, first to the left, then to the right, then you scratch your left wrist three times with your right hand! Every time!
Now the liberals are smelling blood and accusing you guys of all kinds of things like duping us into going to war and using bogus intelligence reports--whine, whine, whine. But I think maybe you can wiggle out of this. I know Bush and Rumsfeld and Cheney can stonewall. But--and I hope you’ll take this the right way--I think you’re the weak link in the chain. You just have to learn to bluff better, Ms. Rice. Just remember--when you have to bluff, keep a straight face. Don’t shift your eyes, and whatever you do, don’t scratch your wrist. You tip them off every time!
God Bless America!
God Bless President Bush!
God Bless Our Troops! (Give Them a Raise!)
Sincerely,
Carl Estrada
