Dear Mr. President,
Congratulations! You won fair and square! It’s a good thing there’s no paper trail from all those Diebold machines or we’d be at this forever!
I’ve got good news and bad news. The good news is Viola came home last night. The bad news is this will be my last letter. Viola says she’s moving to Canada and I can come with her if I want to. I guess I’ll go.
Anyway, I don’t think you’ll be needing my advice anymore. You seem to be getting the hang of it. One last thing though--remember when you said you wanted to send an expedition to Mars? I think you should do that in your second term. Just in case we wear this planet out.
Well, I’m off to Canada. I hope the lines aren’t as long as they were for my flu shot.
By the way, since this was the first time you’ve been elected, in four more years you can run again!
Goodbye and good luck.
